I didn’t read all of that yet but yes, apparently a US official confirmed that there are secret bio-labs in Ukraine working on….who knows what. But apparently this official is very worried that Russia will soon discover the contents

There’s also a bunch of “fact-checkers” from before the official confirmed the labs saying the labs are just Russian misinformation, of course

“Asked by Florida Senator Marco Rubio whether Ukraine had biological or chemical weapons, U.S. Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland testified Tuesday that "Ukraine has biological research facilities, which, in fact, we are quite concerned that Russian troops, Russian forces may be seeking to gain control of."

Putin is going to save us from Ukrainian scientists releasing Covid-19 again? These conservative conspiracy theories are getting really stupid.

I said this years ago. Follow the money.

If infact we are this dumb, which I believe our dear leaders totally don't give a shit. And are uncaring. Then they may have been dumb enough to not even install a wildfire protocol at any of these likely "civilian contracted" facilities. Another big problem with trying to ban fetus research and stuff (im not saying we shouldn't).. the western Oligarchy just offshored ALL of their research efforts practically last decade, they started doing that before 2012...

Jibartik isn't trying to pwn libs. He's looking for the truth. He may poke at u occasionally. I don't believe he's super partisan...

Your argument does absolutely nothing to dissuade me from believing the possibility of there being U.S. affiliated biolabs in Ukraine, AND other places around the world, that there should not be.

Ummm...the Defense Department specifically said these are research facilities aimed at preventing biological attacks and determining whether one has taken place. We have them in every single country, I'm sure that 330 or whatever figure is right. We study enemy weapons and try to take countermeasures. Should we not be doing that? Should we not be doing that locally where the threat is the biggest?

Of course we don't want them to fall into the Russian hands because then they will know how much we know about their germs.

The statement explained that the U.S. and Ukraine have had a partnership since 2005 to prevent the threat of outbreaks of infectious diseases, as well as allowing for peaceful research and vaccine development

The partnership between the U.S. Defense Department and the Ukraine Ministry of Health is part of the Cooperative Threat Reduction Program, which began in 1991 with the aim of reducing the threat of weapons of mass destruction following the fall of the Soviet Union.

As explained by Andy Weber, member of the Arms Control Association board of directors and former assistant secretary for nuclear, chemical, and biological defense programs, this partnership doesn't mean that there are U.S. military-run labs in Ukraine.

In fact, the U.S. Defense Department has never had a biological laboratory in Ukraine
Again, should we NOT be doing that? Preventing outbreaks? Reducing threat of biological weapons?

Of course you can believe Russian propaganda. Who wouldn't trust Major General Igor Konashenkov, the only source for this story?

I do believe the labs in Ukraine and in China were meant to be preventative

However, I also believe that in doing so, they do tamper with various viruses and end up making some through accident or design, more virulent to test on

Else why would the US official be very concerned that the labs could fall into Russia’s hands? Because then Russia would just so much better than Ukraine at preventing infectious diseases? No, it’s because there’s possibly samples in there they do not want Russia getting a hold of, is my guess
