USA war enterprise wanted to kill Iraqi's and like always its pretty easy to get americans to support such work especially after 9/11 attacks it was like a free for all who we get to call a terrorist and then go to war with.

At this point, despite the high approval rating of the Iraq war (though it was not as high as afghanistan) the amount of people saying that approved of the war at the time was like zero.

Since most p99 players would have been around 15 at the time, our dumb ass opinion about international conflict can more or less be excused or at least blamed on those of our elders. I was still playing live EQ at the time, and Tribes 2 and rainbow six 3 raven shield.

cd288 I was trying to summarize Jibartiks arguments and then also analyze them at the end. I don't really know if there was more to be done to prevent russia from invading ukraine.

And for the USD to lose its reserve status and our debt to be de-rated there needs to be a fallback and there isn't someone setting up in a traditional way to replace the USA as king of the hill in this way. China has things it does and things it doesn't do. People can't trust china as they are very opaque, they have a long way before they can replace the USA as trusted for anything. It happens in many industries. They sell food globally and most USA companies won't touch their stuff because the certifications are all B.S. they are really a developing country in most ways still.

So ya if there was someone else kicking ass ready to sideline the USA I am sure that would happen but right now "we're all in this together" means all the non hyper rich people in the world are gunna take it right on the chin while the rich guys scramble for a larger piece of the pie which is already like 90% of the whole pie.

That's why I point my finger at the mega corps who really are the only ones doing well in this chaos, which they have very much control of via social media power. We can wish china or russia was the real next wave power but I'd like to see how it isn't more likely that the handful of people that have more "money" than governments aren't the ones poised to take the next win.

Especially with cryptocurrency (non government issued currency) becoming treated like valid currency, which is one of the main things that governments had to offer.

Fair points Gustoo. I go back and forth on the Iraq war. I mean, because he was trying to keep Iran from thinking they could invade him again, Sadaam spent a long time making it seem like he had WMDs…he was refusing to allow inspectors into specific areas and even claimed at one point that he had WMDs. Of course, as we figured out eventually he didn’t but he was trying to make it seem like he did to seem strong vs Iran. He had also used chemical weapons in the past so it wasn’t impossible to believe that he could have more serious weaponry.

However I do think that once we realized the WMDs weren’t there we should have left rather than trying to nation build which ultimately created more war and suffering for all sides.

That is my biggest worry about Putin. Of course, he could get deposed and replaced by people that want Russia to be with the rest of the world. The other option is he is deposed and someone even more strong-man than he takes the reigns to really re-invigorate nationalist pride and get all the anger of the Russian people pointed outwards for some serious conflict, or something.

It's hard for us outsiders to know what Putin is dealing with and what we would get without him.

Thats what I mean, the invasion of Iraq was supported for real reasons, that later proved to be false.

It remains to be seen what we were blatantly lied about when it comes to Ukraine, and what 1 individual gets to take the blame for it all and the others skate away scott free like everyone who sold small businesses down the river while forcing people to shop at target and amazon only for like a full year. scumz.

In the case of Ukraine all I know is that Russia invaded so I am pretty convinced they're the bad guys.
