Juche is NOT the word.

That’s what people working in retail jobs are doing anyways.

Nothing supports “our” standard of living except the misery of others and our own willingness to live miserably for both the hope that we will one day not be miserable and the fear that we will be abandoned on the streets with our teeth kicked in by a cop if we don’t keep our face to the grindstone until the very very end.

Everyone can buy 5 dollar cups made by hand locally in the United States. A business could be selling pottery overnight pretty easily and they could even source clay locally in most places.

Cost of getting manufacturing permits cost of insurance, zoning regulations, lease terms for your duplex all combine to make it difficult or impossible for a person to be compliant with laws and NOT take a wage job from one of the exploitive corporations we’re describing here.

exploitive corporations

And the American worker receives an income(far greater than the producing worker, mind you) and the customer receives a quality product for a low price.

That is literally why we have climate change.

Ya I'm just having fun, typing stuff and realizing hey is this a communist credo? It's not but it's anti exploitation which is the lie that commies tell you to get you to give em all the authority :P

The most profound thing that hit me about workers rights while I was using the restroom I thought, you know these guys online are complaining about things that I bet the guy that made wine goblets for the wine goblet guy back in Roman days would complain about. Or an Egyptian building the pyramid (who got paid a living wage and drank beers after work with his friends, we have receipts and cost sheets!).

Like, in all our societies, rise and fall, when it comes to our day to day shit we do the exact. same. things.

Look at the war.. It is my opinion that all it takes for us to all happily march into world war 3 is literally 1 guys choice: the guy who wants to start it.

All this knowledge we have about what it would cost us, the end of (our) the world.

Just like I imagine the people of Jerusalem thought when they said, if we go to war, it will be the end of (their) world! They still rejected the Romans. It took 2 thousand years to rebuild.

What I am getting at is, the way we pay our workers, this is the result of evolution, the same way a beaver builds a dam. It's how this beaver builds a damn.

The way we go to war is how a forest sheds it leaves creating the very kindling that would burn it to ash inevitably in the future.

We, are dust in the wind. We behave as nature created us to. We build dams and we recycle with the changing of seasons.

We'll never solve "war" or workers exploitation because that is who we are. It's as natural as breathing to us.

One day, the computers our stagnant water will create, will crawl out of us like we were primordial soup. And it will will question "where did it come from"

Just like we do after we crawled out of the oceans that once ruled this earth.
