The episode is about a journalist who gets embedded in the secret military unit and is highly critical of what they do. I wouldn't mind critique of this episode at all either.

Zelenskyy is pretty easy on the eyes. I feel like he's crossed over already, just kinda stares back like he's looking atchu from beyond the grave, through the veil. He knows every one gets to die. And in many cases its going to be a rough journey. Dude is done with it all, he's going to keep trying anyway.

Hope his eyes can light up again one day in the presence of those he holds dear.

It's always a worse situation when the Russians come to town. My mother used to vacation in Egypt and around the Red Sea back when you know...you didn't get your throat slit right on the bus from the airport...anyway, she always said the Russians were the worst. Always drunk, destroying everything, cursing, fighting with everyone. Just low-class zero-culture losers. Like she and her friends would re-book on the fly once they found they would be sharing the same resort which was a pretty desperate measure since the reason they were in Egypt in the first place was because Eastern Europeans can really stretch their plats in those places.

Both Russia and China are facing an existential crisis. All the industrialized countries are, some more some less, but for those two it's grave.

Agrarian societies have a lot of children because they need them to work. In an industrialized society people have children as a hobby. Children are nothing but an expense. Zero return. Why have them? And this is why most modern nations are now under the replacement rate. If people have 2 kids, that's not enough. Do you know many people with 3 children? Or more? I don't. Most people I know have one child or are childless. It's a big deal if they have two!

The US has a huge advantage in that everyone wants to immigrate here. So while the natives might not be breeding, the US is able to prolong the start of the population collapse by bringing in tons of fertile Central and South Americans.

But Russia and China are a different story. In China they had the one child policy. That was ruinous, but the effects haven't been fully seen yet. In another 30 years, maybe two generations, you're going to see China's 1.44 billion people cut in half.

Russia is worse off because their life expectancy is already super low. It was like 59 (!) according to their lies, and they stopped reporting this years ago so you can bet it's worse. No one is having kids in Russia and everyone is dying young. Russia will not able to fulfill their conscription quotas in a couple of years. Their population will wither and shrink and their stupid federation will fall apart and maybe balkanize even further.

This is why we need to get rid of Russia's nuclear weapons sooner rather than later, before they split into six different entities, two of them Islamic and so-slightly radicalized.

This is the Russian Empire's last gasp. Putin invaded the Ukraine because he knows in a couple of years he won't be able to invade anyone.
