I think they're only resisting and overcoming because Russia isn't out to flatten the country.

Not that I think their military is competent but if they were unleashed to cause total destruction it would be a different story. They're obviously not well trained or equipped to handle these urban engagements and in my opinion are holding back their true might...and I'm not talking nukes.

We saw the same kind of thing when they were in Afghanistan. They either have to commit fully and bring the full might of their military to bear or they suffer. They're not an urban warfare and occupation military. They don't know how to do it.

Putin put himself in an unwinnable situation. If he unleashed his military to utterly decimate Ukraine and it's forces the world would have reacted a lot more strongly, and if he instead chooses urban warfare and occupation while trying to keep the destruction minimized he faces a Ukraine that will resist him and fight back for years, maybe even for generations. The Russian military is obviously not capable of that. They weren't capable of it 30 years ago and they're even less capable now.

NATO has not done ONE THING to stop this war. It has done ZERO. the war is stopped bedcause of american military technology.

We don't need anything. NATO is a treaty organization (it's in the name) that mandates its members to perform certain acts if certain other acts take place within certain areas.
