Things not looking so good for Ukraine, some reports are saying they are losing 700 soldiers a day as casualties. That is no small number.

Contrast that with the worst day of losses for Americans in Vietnam at 246.

I heard a claim there were like 500-600 foreign fighters in sliverdontask and that was right after hearing that the ruskies blew up the last bridge out of town.

What is the situation with those UK dudes they set for execution the other day?

We have some serious distractions over here.

My hunch is Ukraine is sacrificing ppl so that Russia concentrates their forces. I doubt they retake land. And this is going to go on until one side runs out of food and fuel and fighters. And if it's Ukraine. Russia will have yet more terrorism forever.

Also I have reached the stage where I am as emotionally detached about this as I am about all other wars, terrorism, isms. At this point.

If the U.N. wasn't going to stand up to Russia it should have forcibly evacuated Ukrainian women and children and basically told them to sit down and shut up. Rather than letting the west turn this into a proxy, Propoganda war. Yes, Russia sux let's face it tho. The west was never ever going to stand up to them though. Russia is a convenient boogeyman and Ukraine losing is fine in their eyes. And no I don't think Trump could have pulled enough twitter weight to make much of a difference. Maybe he could have caused Ukrainian civilians to GTFO better tho by letting them know they honestly were fucked.

Ukraine didn't do anything for Biden's poll numbers so Dems don't care about it anymore

starkind 06-15-2022 08:54 PM

They never really did. Not the actual politicians in office for sure.

I think actual ppl over the age of 40 gave a fuck. They don't really have any say tho. So they just give up and go back to watching netflix.

I'm terrified to find out what 20 somethings think. They seem terrified of nuclear holocaust and youtu.be and fortnite, anime waifu genchin impact or whatever going offline. Oh and they are more mad Jojo is being released as a full bingable season so they can't speculate on the weekly episodes. They're probably more mad about that then anything else right now.

That's my feelings on USA demographic priorities.

I agree with this, but I also find it strange that I did not see flags in front of their houses just 6 years ago when this exact same thing happened before.

Like if it was the older melinials that got all moved by this, why were they not moved by it a little while ago when they were very much in the age bracket then and even a better position in life, like more peace around the world at the time, no trump etc... yet they didnt care at all.

I just had someone here in the office who works in the U.N. and recently returned from Ukraine, saying it's a shame we don't have the fortitude to drop a bomb on Russia and stop them like we did Japan. Very well educated, experienced and respected person that some of you may know.

Not saying who it is and you don't have to believe me but I'm not lying. When you're there doing humanitarian work and you've lived a long, accomplished life and can see the broader implications of what's going on due to your experience it makes you see that sometimes the path to peace is through violence. It's sad but it's true.

Jibartik 06-17-2022 04:05 PM

It's only a matter of time at this point, we're all beyond retarted.

MrSparkle001 06-17-2022 04:08 PM

Well I did point out that Japan didn't have the ability to bomb back.

But the point is these dictators have too much power because "muh ecomonics" (spelled wrong on purpose lol) so nobody wants to stand up to them.
