How much time, in game years, passed between EverQuest I and II?
 

To clarify Seth’s answer a bit, the start of EverQuest II takes place 500 years after the events of EverQuest’s Planes of Power expansion. However, the events of that expansion caused a split in the timeline. EverQuest continued in one; the other timeline resulted in the events leading up to the launch of EverQuest II, 500 years later.
