Random Error
 

This is the error I get. It's completely random when it happens, sometimes ill go a few minutes and itll pop up, sometimes hours, i do nothing different to cause it, can even just be sitting around afk. I run in windowed mode mainly. On my other computer this never happened but I think it was running windows 10 whereas this laptop is running 11. If I move the error to the side I can play the game without crashing, but as soon as I click it it kicks the game off.

Found a solution? I have the same problem

Hard to read the picture but it looks like this one:

The instruction at 0x029110ce referenced memory at 0xfffffffc. The memory could not be read

This solution to this is actually very simple. Go to your EQ folder. Find the file eqclient.ini and open it in a text editor (i use notepad, its the simplest to use)

hit ctrl+f, type windowedwidth, you should see something like this:

WindowedWidth=1280
WindowedHeight=768
Width=1280
Height=768
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0
WidthWindowed=1280
HeightWindowed=768


change it to this:

WindowedWidth=800
WindowedHeight=600
Width=800
Height=600
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0
WidthWindowed=800
HeightWindowed=600

Or change it to whatever you'd like. I did 1920x1080
