Cut and dry:
Two guilds are working together, considering a merger, to try to dethrone #1. I don't understand what is so hard to grasp about this concept. Each were tired of playing second/third fiddle and want a shot at excelling. To do this, they need to merge. Respectively, neither guild quite has the numbers to do it alone so they are working together. Each guild's "just shy of" numbers amount to quite a large raid force. This is still the honeymoon and people are excited/eager to play and log in, thus the large numbers. You know as well as I do that after a month or two the numbers will drop out of the stratosphere and hopefully balance out at a respectable 35-50.
TR has the only legitimate European force for early morning spawns. Having an abundance of members increases the chance for the primarily American membered guild(s) to give you a run for your money in the a.m.
I know some of you at least are happy to have the competition. It honestly can't be fun to roll up uncontested to 60%+ of raid targets. That's how people get burned out and stop logging in. So, you're welcome for hopefully re-invigorating your members.
