Odd problem need help.
 

I am having a veary odd problem. My frame rate drops to a craw when I get next to Zone walls big hills and in some parts of Citys. Also my frame rate in the darkelf starting zone is always bad. When I say bad I mean I mite be getting 10 FPS. It looks like I am running in slow mo. If I am not at a zone wall hill or in Nek the game runs fine.

I am running the game on one of the dell XPS m1730 WoW laptops. It has a 2.4 gig dule core CPU yes I have tryed all the tricks for dule core CPUs I have 4 gigs of ram and A dule 8700 m nividea graphics card. with SLI turnd off.

I have done everything I know to fix this and have come up short. Dose anyone know what could be making the game act this way?

Start off by seeing if you can isolate a setting that is causing it, one at a time if you haven't already. Slow and time consuming, but can be worth it.

Stuff like shadows, advanced lighting, Anti-aliasing (system settings and graphic driver programs can overrule game settings), etc.
