Final Fantasy XI Classic
 

Just curious, but is anyone here interested in Horizon XI, the new FFXI Classic server that just came out last week? It's basically Project1999 but for FFXI.

It seems like vanilla FFXI is the MMO that most closely resembles classic Everquest in both its design and difficulty.

Well, does it allow boxing? The actual number might be a lot lower if they do.

I really believe the Japanese are on a different wave length than Westerners.

Their plots are all over the place. Like written by mosquitos with ADHD.

I think you need to be on the spectrum in order to enjoy it.

I prefer British writing. Dry wit and depressing.

Why can't the Brits make Anime?

Tekken's plot over the years really falls into this description.

No, there's no multi-boxing allowed.

XI was good. I had fun with it. I just couldn't do the grind on 3 games. And XI was grindier than most.

I made a toon on it.. I had a rdm/whm on Nasomi for awhile, but didn't get far. The fishing is kinda of fun until you get the pirates and die instantly zoning. Did actually play it during live as an elvaan dragoon with full AF..unfortunately i barely remember much mechanics/ and zones compared to EQ. Might give it another shot tho if i got people to play with
