Ebon Mace, Argnet Protector, or Noct blade for 30+?
 

I do a lot of soloing, some small groups (I dont like being social much other than with people i know)

What's a good setup I'm looking for here between 1h/shield or 2h?

Argent Protector, since 2h weapon bonus is better than 1h, and ratio is better too. Most solo/group content for XP purposes isn't going to really require sword and board, especially at your level range. Mobs are just going to melt anyway.

2h is also better for fear kiting since it's slower, so you have less chance for missing a swing when chasing enemies. Fear kiting is the best way to deal with casters, it's more consistent than bash. Not saying you shouldn't eventually get a 1h/shield setup to bash if you aren't a Troll/Ogre, but it isn't really a priority if your strapped for cash.

Ebon mace for group & random solo stuff you need magic for & reaver for everything else(swap out reaver for lance at 55). Or just get a lance & skip reaver because ebon mace will have no issues taking you to 55 but reaver is really fun starting at lvl 30.

I deleted all my stuff on blue and started fresh on green. Most of my money generation currently is from paineel guards.

I'm 22 currently.

Shard of night is in the game and dirt cheap. I'd just use that until reaver or lance at 55 or raid loot.

2 Hander for soloing past 30. Argent Protector is great for that.

Ebon Mace for grouping. In my opinion.

Is that going to scale well into 55-60?

Reason being, I guess now 2h damage scales more with the delay ?

Yes, 2 handers scale better now. It's better to solo with one.

You want a good 2h weapon. Shard of night is 0.018 better than Argent Protector ratio-wise, but you get a bigger damage bonus with Argent Protector. Plus you are taking less riposte damage.

If you aren’t a race that can slam, and if you can’t get epic/not twinked , then I’d probably stick with a 1h until 60 because you’re going to want to fear kite eventually and bash/slam makes this much more tolerable. If you’re an ogre/troll then just go 2h and don’t look back.
