A dwarves smith not responding
 

Hello,

I’m attempting to hail and speak to “a dwarves smith” the npc for the crushbone quests and I’m not getting a verbal response from him. When I hail him he turns to me, but does not say anything. I gave the proper commands to him but still no response.

Grated this wasn’t smart, but I attempted to just hand him Bracers of Battle and he gave nothing in return.

Is there some way to reset this NPC so he responds again?

Just to clarify I was inside the slavers building and I was speaking to the dwarf in the middle stall, like the wiki says.

I do not believe the dwarven smith wants the bracers of battle

What he wants is the Brass Earring to make him say anything. The [interested] dialogue prompt still doesn't seem to be working however.
