He did. Jumped the gun on aggro, but didn't kill the mob. Rooted it for OP, who then facetanked a rooted mob until he was forced to gate.

So your expectation isn’t for the level 60 shaman to play better, but rather the level 20 something that was thrown into a stressful situation by the 60 shaman?

He aggro'd a mob. When he was told it was camped, he refrained from killing it and CC'd it for the guy who claimed it. Seems like the appropriate response given the situation.

What else do you want him to do? Change the enchanter's diaper?

Pretty simple, root it outside of aggro range and be on his way.
