This is the "vibe" I am getting these days.
The market for PvE play nice servers is saturated and this is about as good as it gets, and that is one damn apt film reference. Bunch of burned out surfers and speed heads, probably popular in medical marijuana states to boot. That market, this market, is saturated.
WAIT. I'm not gonna say try red. PvP. Sucks.
Attica server 2024.
- No PvP but it's no mercy, either. Perma corpse rot in one day in-world timer. Original VP rules. Mages can still summon, but the spell takes 15 RL minutes to cast.
- Rez takes 15 RL minutes to cast. Eats a full mana bar. The Cleric epic now casts infravision.
- Failed feigned deaths summons the entire zone. What the fuck did you expect?
- New boss mob effect: feign death. Never fails. When mob heals and gets up, it starts chain summoning people, yelling "Snap into a Slim Jim!" server wide.
- Endurance is back. Go ahead, use that autorun. It will suck when you can't move or use your weapon as a spiderling slowly bites you to death for 5+ hours.
- Characters die upon logging out.
- At death, your corpse is ported to a random zone.
The last one makes all encounter require a substantial number of "utility necros." Druids have had their day.
