Much of my field deals with Latin prefixes and suffixes.

The benefits flowing from knowledge of Latin are so significant that it seems impossible to imagine a physician, pharmacist or physiotherapist without even elementary knowledge of this language. (Greek and Polish help too.)

So it catches my eye when some one takes an avatar from a book I have perused

To be pro aussenseiter they have really softened me up versus Catholicism tho I still remain prejudicial. Not sure if that was their intention or not butt whatever.

Pagans are misguided tho in that like many in organized religion they are full of pride, ego, hubris, and there is much corruption of their faith and superstitions. So the ritual they do for good health is probably eating them alive and hindering them on the path to enlightenment...and the spiritual salvation G-d offers is going to be much harder to attain. If there was better social stigmatization, like what occurs in Japan, rather than apologists making excuses for them, that might do something to reduce crime on a cultural level

I even saw a (cherry-picked I know) depressing as fuck video where someone is hauling stolen merchandise to their car, the store employees chase them to their car and start to grab them, multiple bystanders yell AT the employees “YOU CANT TOUCH HIM!” and then cheer as the criminal gets away

Sad. That is the opposite of what we need

We are too soft and don't criminalize deceit (bearing false witness, idolatry) enough.

It should be much harder to be "free" and it it should be earned and much easier to lose that freedom and if you engage in anything malicious the hammer should be dropped. So lying, cheating, stealing, manipulation, evasion... and on the other side you gotta limit power so greed etc...

Tyranny is fine when it's just.
