Book of Obulus ...

As i approach my 41st season, i'm looking to replace my cherished Charred Guardian Shield with a Book of Obulus. If you have one for sale, please contact me in game with your price.

Thank you!

I wouldn't mind a second Platinum Dragon Totem in the meantime. :)

Now that i've turned 41, i'm ruminating about the wisdom (no pun intended) of purchasing a Book of Obulus. Question for you number crunchers out there:

By what amount would my mana pool increase if i replaced my second Dragon Totem in my Secondary slot with a Book of Obulus?

Currently, with a wisdom of 200 and the +50 mana of a Totem in my secondary slot, my mana pool is 1856.

The Book would increase my wisdom by 8, and offer only +45 mana rather than +50.

By swapping my Charred Guardian Shield in and out (increases wisdom by 9), i'm under the impression that a Book of Obulus would likely increase my mana pool by about 35. I'm just not sure it's worth spending 4-6 k for what seems like a somewhat modest operational upgrade.

I guess what i'm essentially asking is what's the value of +8 wisdom after the 200 threshold is met. I'm not sure how complicated that calculation may be from a point by point increase perspective.

Thoughts?

I'm going to bump this up because i'm still curious to know if folks think +30-35 mana is a worthy investment, generally speaking. I could have gotten a book the other night for 4k, but i talked myself out of it. Number crunchers, where are you? :)

I quickly came to the same conclusion, Seaweed ... :)
