Premediated Pacify failure - Crit Resist on Purpose
What negative CHA items do you wear on your Cleric/Paladin when trying to Critical Resist on a mob out of line of sight for the purpose of pulling?
|
*Premeditated - title correction
|
Just take your Cha gear off and use the lowest lvl spell
|
Be a man and just run in there and body the whole damn room.

How about:

Most of the stuff you would want a crit resist pull is almost guaranteed to happen. I recall doing this for VT once years ago.
I would just low-rank to like lull and keep casting. Unless it's like half your level its going to happen eventually. Even then I had a crit resist in droga with a 52 cleric so go figure. |
I do this rarely enough that I don't bother carrying any -cha pieces for it.
If you are just doing a standard pull of a caster and want to avoid being cast on, you can move just before your pull spell finishes casting and break los before it casts back. |
25 tho

Afaik these are the only items with big hits to charisma that can be worn by clerics:
Forsaken Pariah Mask or Eye of Cazic Thule (-25) Brain of Cazic Thule (-25) Engraved Bone Pauldrons (-20) Krup Warrior Guard (-15) If you wish to commit to being the least liked in Norrath then proceed to get: Netted Kelp and/or Crustacean Armor and Platinum Skull Rings, Red Headband, Zlandicars Talisman, Fingerbone Hoop, Cazic Diety Imbued Earring, Goblin Bracers, Bone Totem, Small Manisi Plant (if no Brain of Cazic Thule) |
You guys legit equip all that just to crit fail a lull?
