Guides and GMs are considered judges and therefore restricted from being attacked. Anyone found attacking a GM or Guide may be banished from the Arena or death touched without warning.

The Arena is off limits to unauthorized PvP 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the event. This is to ensure that the contestants and spectators are safe.

Spectators shall remain out of the arena area. This event will use the entire pvp arena area. Spectators are allowed to watch from the door.

Spectators shall not use /shout for any reason, but use /ooc instead. This is so that those involved in the match can use /shout, and the /ooc channel can be turned off to reduce distraction to the contestants involved. Use of /shout at any time can result in a silence command being issued, rendering the player unable to use any form of communication, or banishment from the Arena.

Spectators shall not interfere with this event. Severe penalties are used only when directly attacking a player involved in the match, attacking a judge during the match, or healing a player involved in a match.

We may limit the amount of people in the zone to control conditions of lag or frame rate for the participants. The event shall start open seating, but may close off at any time. The Event Staff may use any sort of decision on who stays and who leaves to ensure the event is a success. This should not be implemented until a minimum of 150 players in the zone has been reached.


Combatant Rules

Top two teams will be given rewards.

Teams must be made up of 1 class from each of three buckets.

Melee - Warrior, Paladin, SK, Ranger, Monk, Rogue, Bard
Priest - Cleric, Shaman, Druid
Caster - Enchanter, Wizard, Mage, Necro

All participants will be debuffed before the match.

Weapons with the following spell effects attached to them will not be allowed; Knockback, Fear, Invisibility, and Shrink.

A buffing period will be set for the first 60 seconds of a match followed immediately by combat. Mana will not be replenished after the 60-second period. You are allowed to proc off of your teammates to get a buff but you are not allowed to proc off of a spectator.

Limited Activatable items will be authorized, these items include ONLY the following.
Journeyman's Boots
SOW pots
ANY final Epic weapon is authorized to be held and right clicked.

The following items will be banned during this event.
Shuriken of the Tranquil
Windstriker
Weighted Axe
Bow of the Destroyer
Earthshaker
Gromlok's Basher
Tranquil staff

With exception to the aforementioned items with activatable properties, all items, weapons, and armor will be allowed in this event. Activatable items of any kind may only be used for stat bonuses and processes. The right clickable effects are prohibited and will result in disqualification if used.

Unauthorized Spell List

Any form of Fear, unless directed at a pet
Any form of Charm, unless directed at a pet
Gravity Flux or Invert Gravity
Group based wolf form of any kind
Skeletal Illusions, not including Lich or Demi Lich
Song of Highsun

In the event that the combat exceeds 20 minutes of time the GMs will restrict the arena to the arena pad

If you teleport out of bounds you will be disqualified.

The whole inside of the PVP area is considered in bounds for this match.

Starting positions are allowed anywhere that is legal in the arena.

Any use of exploits or bugs will result in immediate disqualification from the event, and is a break in the rules of conduct as set forth P99’s PNP Policy.

Made a few changes.

Self teleports like shadow step are allowed. If you teleport out of the arena you will be disqualified.

Selos is allowed. After 20 minutes combat will move to the arena pad.
