Rivervale Guards Not Dropping Shields Sometimes
 

Guards started to randomly not drop a shield sometimes and both rings. Shields are always equipped and visible but when you go to loot them it will be missing on maybe 3 of 10 of them. This has been happening since yesterday 07/26/23.

Rogues been pick pocketing them, mate.

One spawned in with spear + shield and a guild mate was there to see it too. We both saw the shield on him. When he died he still showed shield. When u loot he only had spear. This was a fresh spawn. I was killing them ever round, grabbing them as they spawned with nobody in zone pickpocketing them.

However it seems to be fixed now. Have only had 1 case early this morning AM EST today.

You can't pickpocket wielded items.

They wield the shields. Think it was a weird bug going on.

You can definitely pickpocket shields under some circumstances. I stole the Kaladim guard shields all the time, they keep the graphic but don't have it in inventory anymore. I haven't done it to halfling guards but I would not be surprised if it worked the same.

Not saying that's what is happening here, especially if they're missing the shields when you're sure no rogues came through after spawn, but I suspect you can steal them.
