Can't login to the server after playing yesterday
 

Hello, new here. Friend told me about PJ1999. I got a character Jessco to level 5 on Green yesterday. Had no issues with login. Today when I try to login the game briefly freezes, window goes white with the loading icon (windows based) and then goes right back to the login screen and says "can't connect error 1017 may need to re-run update patch" I'm on windows 10.

Is there an issues with the server? I've changed nothing since yesterday.

No issues with the server, try patching again. Also are you using WinEQ?

Have you tried running the program as an administrator?

2 things that can help... try running in compatibility mode with Win XP SP2, and the "patchme" part on the 2nd picture stops your P99 folder updating to the live servers etc. I always use that shortcut and never launch the eqgame.exe from the install folder <3

Ignoring the server problem, please reapply the patch. Can you tell me whether WinEQ is included in your software?
