Seriously, I played this game from launch in 1999 through PoP.

I do not remember fizzling this often with my low level spells. At level 28 I fizzled Clinging Darkness (lvl 4) three times in a row just now, and Alteration is my specialization school.

This issue is not just with my Necro, my Druid fizzles the low level snare frequently at level 40.

I believe they have the %chance to fizzle set way to high on P99 compared to original EQ.

It's the fizzle lottery!

I screenshot every 5-time consecutive fizzles on low level spells. I don't think I have any 6 consecutive saved. I'm hoping for a New High Fizzle Score! soon. Ideally when I'm dealing with multiple mobs/train

It definitely seems like I fizzle way more often if I'm really low on mana and the amount lost by fizzling will put me below the minimum to cast the spell, just to be extra annoying because this is eq

gonna need like average 100 casts per skill point, and hybrids are screeeeewed even at max skill level

Ranger fizzles are next level.
