Most Quest-y Class/Race combos
 

Alright Quest-heads, I'm looking to get into the real end game grind. Lore. To that end, what class / race combo is has the most quests? Most fun quests? Most exp quests while leveling?

I found Tunare Ranger to be pretty decent with classic ranger quests and also PoG quests. Nonetheless, I'm guessing the answer is Iksar something, but I've never been much of a quester, so I don't know.

I'm a fan of the Star of Eyes - Tarton's Wheel quest.

A great way to see the world of Norrath. A good GCD item for dungeons. Jboots is better GCD item for outdoors, but Star of Eyes is great for most casters/hybrids.

I think Paladin is pretty great, granted many rewards have become outdated due to powercreep. Necros have a fair number of quests too.

I second that Tarton's Wheel is fun and it's not Wizards only.

Iksar warr / sham / SK have interesting armor quests.

Iksar SK has Greenmist which is lengthy and fun.

Human / Erudite Cleric have a few really neat quests in Paineel.

For clarification, are you simply looking to do as many quests as possible, even if you can't use the items? Or are you asking about the race/class that has the most quests with items they can use?

It has got to be iksar sk.

Fair solo capability, armour and weapon quests available.

Sounds like Iksar SK is the clear favorite.

On a personal note, the good news is I love both Iksars and SKs. The bad news is I have 3 Shadow Knights already, so while I will definitively get around to it, I'm gonna have to put that on the back burner for now.

Out of the remainders, we have mentioned other Iksar classes, Paladins and Paineel factioned characters.

Out of the other Iksar classes, what would be next in line? Warrior? Necro?

For Paladin, what race has the most questing? HIE for Tunare stuff? Human/Eru for human stuff?

Halfling druid is a contender.

It's an overplayed class obviously, but Enchanter has some cool quests here and there that also provide really useful Enchanter items. In typical EQ fashion, they'll also take you all over the world. Stein of Moggok (always thought it was cool using the DE illusion on an agnostic Enchanter to be able to get into Oggok and do this one), Rod of Insidious Glamour, and the level 44 Tashania spell quest has you sneaking (depending on faction of course) into every old world city in the game. Not necessarily the most "lore-y" quests in the game but still fun to do and have a reason to check out various zones.
