Half Elf blind as a bat!

Hi
I understand night is supposed to be realistic... I'm a half-elf so should have some vision - it's pitch black and gamma isn't having any effect. Is this right?

Are you using an nvidia graphics card? If you are you can adjust things through the nvidia control panel

Yea things are extremely dark in this game even as a high elf/wood elf.

TBF Humans/Erudites/Barbs would probably just see complete blackness

Thanks, I'm using a Radeon 7 integrated so I don't think it's an option. Thank you though.

I understand. My eyes aren't as good as they once were so I now log out when it's night, if only to save food and water!

Try opening a 2nd instance of EQ. It's brighter for some people. Obv, you only actually log in on the 2nd one...

You can also try increasing gamma in game or use windows display calibration

Windows display calibration worked, thanks. It's a bit more bearable now. Thanks again.
