Fantasy-lite for children.

I was disappointed by every harry potter movie so far. I really love the books, thats probably why. Didn't see the last one yet, maybe it wont disappoint for once, but i doubt it.

books were good in a way, films are annoying mainly because the lead actors and actresses are so bad. radcliffe and that kid who plays weasley are just so terrible.

Not to get too nerdy, and pardon if I get this wrong. I have not read past the first couple of books.

In the last few movies, the Malfoys were like, paranoid. In the beginning they were arrogant and spiteful. In the later movies, they became fearful and scared and it was never explained. Did what's-his-name threaten them in some way that wasn't shown in the movies?

He threatened the shit out of them from the end of the fifth book and beyond.

I'm not sure on the weasley guy. But radcliffe never brought the character out from being that 11year old 1st year imho

But I got to say, the writing at least mainly for the movies is just sooo fucking retarded. I mean, if you know there's this whole prophecy shit between you and a bad mofoer, don't you try to learn as many defensive/offensive spells as you can? I fucking would, because once i beat down that bad mofoer I'd be getting teh women with my piles of fucking gold in the vault because cash=ass
