Wizards unite!
 

Okay, I was thinking the other day while playing my Wizard, how hard this class can sometimes be. I mean, groups are hard pressed to take us in, soloing is terribly inefficient and for the most part, we only make it to raids because we have the ports up there. This being said, my Wizard is still fairly low level, yet I love him! The porting around the world, being able to bind in obscure places knowing i'm never stranded. Doing fun quests like Staff of the Wheel and knowing that being a Wizard almost makes me a part of an unsaid, unmentioned club.

Let's be honest, Wizards need to stick together, we're few and far between and sometimes just having a little Wizard pride, and jabbing it up with other Wizards is what we need! As I was teleporting into Toxx the other day for my Staff quest, I started thinking about how fun it would be, to some Saturday night, have all the Wizards on the server, teleport to the same spire, and just spend some time gabbing, getting to know each other and hanging out for an hour or so. Almost the same way guilds have a guild meeting, except this would be strictly for us Wizards. Dark Elf...High Elf....elite guild, newbie guild. All differences set aside and uniting under one common bond; the fact that we love our Wizards!

This whole idea might not get much attention, and I know I sound a little nuts, but even if only 5 or 6 of us show up, I think this would really be a fun event that could take place. I'm not sure if this is in the right category on these forums, and if not, feel free to move it to it's appropriate location. I'm gonna go ahead and set this up for next weekend. I'm not sure when people raid, or who raids or what, but i'm scheduling it anyway, in hopes that some of you will attend, low level, and high level alike...Just port in, jibber jabber for a while, and then we all go out motivated to kill stuff! Consider this as something to do next Saturday night and I hope to see all of you Wizards there!

Why: Because, lets be honest here...with enough of us involved, this could be really enjoyable. The Toxx forest spires are the most secluded port location, where it can mostly be just us and Wizards as low as level 20 can port in and hang out. Don't be too cool, for Wizard school! Come represent your guild, your class and your knowledge on the platform of Wizardry, don't miss out!

Another good element of this, OP, is that nubbie wizards could ask more experienced wizards for some tips and tricks and the like. I'd love to be involved but I don't have the balls to play a wizard apparently. Also, consider having some of the higher wizards able to port the wizards not high enough to port themselves.

Wizards probably shouldn't stick together because if there's anything a group wants less than a wizard it's two or three wizards.
