Avatar photo help
 

I can't figure out how to upload a profile avatar on here, the only thing that shows under the "edit avatar" section is a bullet that is already clicked with the label "do not use an avatar". I see profile avatar's on some peoples posts, so it should be possible. How do you upload an avatar photo on these forums?

You probably aren't approved to use an avatar yet, takes a few posts(mods have to approve your first few).

Unrelatedly it does reject or is uncooperative a lot when I try to change it.
