Rogue purchase advice
 

So I'm a 45 rogue, sitting on 10k pp with 155 STR,

wielding Gloomwater Harpoon and Polished Steel Dirk.

Is it more beneficial to drop my money on new gear / weapons,

or save up for an FBS??

Shoot me a tell in game, I'm on Cyrano atm.

weapons, you can get free haste from sky or hangman

I dunno, your weapons aren't exactly bad.
10k would buy you a trak tooth which is 10/22. Same dmg, better ratio.

I'd go for haste.

His harpoon is 9/31. Trak Tooth is 10/20 - that would give a greater dps increase than probably any haste item in the game.

FBSS seems to hold its value and may not be a bad investment in the near term.

Maybe someone can crunch the numbers to predict the dps of a Trak Tooth vs what you have with added haste.

I thought Gloomwater was 10/25, or was that Slime Coated? I can never remember. I would save up for an FBSS and get the 10/25 harpoon if that is the one you don't have. Trak Tooth is overpriced in my opinion when the 10/25 harpoon is like 1200? Just my 2 cents

I made the exact same mistake. Read Gloom, thought slime coated. Mybad.

Str/hp is nice on the gloom though.

Buy a Slime Coated Harpoon and then move on to save for FBSS. Get in a guild, loot a sky haste, sell your FBSS. ???. Profit.
