Personally I thought that was pretty reasonable.
When someone steals from you they are stealing a part of your life, and thus, the only justification is death.
I'm not pro-death, so something like removal of their ability to play is fairly moderate.
The fact is, criminals don't learn like normal people. They only learn through loss. Sadly, you don't understand that a small loss doesn't deter a criminal, it only makes them try harder to "avoid getting caught" next time.
The only way to reform people like that is an extreme loss.
With naelamru he began to immediately apologize, we can clearly see repentance.
With feuerwerk, the opposite. He has not apologized at all, went into hiding, and is trying to be as inconspicuous as possible.
