Corpse Lost
Hi folks,
So, in the past few days I died. I do not know where as I corpsed after a long day and do not know where (zone included) and after running through the zones I would've thought were the ones I had no luck. Is there anything I can do at this point to try and find it or is there a resource I can rely on? Does P99 have any corpse dump monthly? This might literally be my reason to continue playing or write this game off entirely. I'd love some help if possible. -Prin |
Yes you can put a thread in the petition forum, you can also petition in game /petition "write about how you lost a corpse and need some help"
I'm not sure which is faster, or better for staff.. but it will take a day or a few depending on staff time. |
Can you say the name of the corpse? Maybe someones seen it. All I know you can do is go to each zone and /corpse to see if you get a response thats its too far away
Worst case if it rots after 7 days you can just do an in game /petition and ask for it to be summoned (This is something GMs do all the time) |
Deeplung is the monks name.
Appreciate the responses, I'll wait a few more days and /petition in game. I ran back through each zone I thought it would be in with no luck. Honestly, I just feel like a big dummy not knowing where it would've been, just dejected at the moment. Thank you, humble forum folks! |

Not sure if they'll do it prior to it naturally rotting though. CRs are part of the game! |
Let it rot and petition in game for a corpse recovery. If your online they put it at your feet,if your offline it goes to ec and they move you there.

I'd recommend reviewing https://wiki.project1999.com/Zone_Connection_World to see if maybe you missed a zone. If not, as others said you can simply wait seven days and check EC for the (highly unclassic) P99 corpse retrieval service, but ... if you looted your corpse, obviously that won't work. Quote:

dude wheres my corpse?

Zone into each zone. Do /corpse. It'll let you know if you have a corpse in that zone or not
|
Turn your log on with /log on. I've used that to figure out where I drunkenly died before. One time, I drowned in Dagnor's - I would've been searching forever without my logs.
