Choose my own adventure - You decide how I main a new Rogue
 

Greetings fellow Norrathians,

The gist

I am creating a new account and looking for an interesting challenge, so I've decided to main a Rogue with no resources. To add some additional flair to this experience, I've put the community at the helm. You decide the details of my character, where it levels, and what the journey entails. Want me to make a meta pick and play a Barbarian or a Dwarf? I'll do it. Want me to struggle with a klepto Gnome who obsessively pick-pockets everything? It's up to you. Want to see how I fare trying to solo some remote dungeon with no groups in sight? I guess that's where I'll go.

The details

• I will regularly document the experience, either through short-form stories or general summaries.
  
• I will offer prompts or polls at various benchmarks and follow whatever the majority consensus is.
  
• I will accept any guidance, spare gear, buffs, group invites, or other direct contributions to the experience. If you want to be my character's conscience, deity, or benefactor, I welcome it!

The first step

I will create the character tonight, based upon the results of the first poll. A name would be a bit difficult, given how creative we have to be after all these years to find one that isn't taken. So I'll let you choose the first step in my adventure: our character's race. Please vote in the poll and we'll take the first steps together!

It's 7pm and time to make the character! It's a tie between a max strength Gnome and max wisdom Human. It appears that the community wants this guy to be as silly as possible, and nothing is sillier than a Gnome rogue, so that will break the tie!

Added challenge - never leave faydwer and try to hit 60 solely on that continent. I will be genuinely impressed if you can hit 60 in kedge and it’s nice and empty for you.

IDK why Barbarian is a meta play, worst race possible can't see anything in the dark so I picked it for you :) P.S. Gnome is actually the best race for rogue, good vision and see through walls (plus you get a barbarian illusion in the end game)

Dark elf. Be naturally good looking and able to see without an illusion.

Dark elf is actually the best. Barbarian is meta because people are stupid.
