Is this a violation of the multi-boxing rule?

Just curious, as I don't want to end up on the wrong side of the rule here.

My son plays at the computer desk beside mine.

Let's say we're both medding near the zone line, and a train comes along while he's upstairs afk. If I were to zone my character out, and then get up, and go over to his desk, and move his character out, I guess technically that would be a violation of the rules, wouldn't it?

Yes, technically.

In practice, no, because no one would notice and petition ... but then you'd get used to doing little things like that, until one day you did something not so little, and got away with it, and then you'd do that again ... and eventually you would get caught and lose both you and your son's account.

I'd suggest it's better to draw a mental line and never cross it, but it's your accounts.

Yeah you're probably right. Not worth risking both accounts just to save one death.

Make a 3rd account that's a cleric that either of you can login in when you're both at your computers to rez the person that died.

It's a great suggestion. Not a terrible class to solo either if one of you has more time spare than the other.

Just have another kid to play the cleric all the time
