Info on Temple of Prexus?

The wiki states that "The Temple to the god Prexus is also hidden within the aquatic depths of the Keep." and even points to room 9 of Kedge Keep as "Temple of Prexus".

I have always believed it but also wondered: Where do we take this info from?

Cheers!

I think it depends on the page. Some is from the original EQ cartographer (Muse of EQ Atlas). Some is from the official EQ strategy guides, and some is just written by modern players.

OK but Muse of EQ Atlas and Modern Players must have learned it somewhere, no?

Can anyone who has the strategy guide confirn?

Things I've learnt from the accepted Lore of Kerafyrm.

Dragon interacial coupling is frowned upon.
It makes insane offspring.

Dang custom content classic raid zone line should be added to Kedge! (when we get AI game development oh boy!)

In eq lore prexus made the kedge similar to how brell made dwarves, cazic made ogres etc. So they probably just inferred that the kedge would have a temple to worship their creator?

EQ-atlas was more than just a map site. Its style was not only to provide maps, but also provide detailed zone descriptions and world-building background. When no such background was available, the writer created his own in the appropriate style. As years passed and the site owner gradually lost interest in EQ, these zone descriptions become noticeably shorter and shorter with passing expansions until eventually the addition of new content ended entirely. That type of site represents the imagination and role-playing that is somewhat lost with the use of modern-style fact-based wikis and datagathering sites. Nobody today will worry about or look for a supposed sea monster in lake rathe; instead they can check the wiki, see no such sea monster exists, and go about their business.

EQ Atlas was pretty much dead half way into Luclin I think, Prexus stuff never got anymore elaborated until Plane of Water/Reef of Coirnav in The Planes of Power expansion.

The Buried Sea went DEEP on that Kedge lore.

If you have a level 60-65 character I reckon you can grab a free merc on live and so the huge series of quests in the titular zone for a decent aug and lots of lore dump.
