Boy, what a doozy. My roof got messed up some. Big ancient trees down everywhere. People inland flooded. Pretty bad for many.

Well, Milton was a monster.

I ate an MRE today and we got FEMA water and supplies. We were prepared but just barely. No real food for no power.

Ngl I been worried for you. The news over here mentioned you’d have a big storm over there which means it must have been BIG.

Aussie got an earthquake recently. 4.2 or so. People needed to be told it happened. Cyclones (like your tornadoes and hurricanes) in the northern states sometimes. Rarely the large ones make landfall. Last massive one on a city was 1974 in darwin, pretty much our smallest capital city. Others have hit land but in smaller cities.

God must love us. Or the blue team dont know we are here.

Head down magnet. I dont pray so I hope ya high pressure zones dont catastrphically meet ya low pressure zones ()or how ever ya hurricanes work over there.

Florida apears to be more affected because of the narrowness of the state and being surrounded by water.
Australia has a much larger area to be affected than the usa but because its landmass is wide in the east-west directions at point of impact the water driven power of cyclones/hurricanes loses potency as it traverses landmasses.

Sucks that the positives of being very near to a coast no matter where in Florida one lives makes more chance of a strong hurricane hitting those same places.
