Who kills Lord Nagafen and Lady Vox?
 

And how does it even work? I’m assuming top guilds have super geared low level characters to do this..? Just bought a cloak of flames dirt cheap. I know it drops off other mobs, but it made me think about how bad I wanted this item as a kid and how in 2024 it would never be possible for me to loot an item like this…

Was hoping for a classic fatty tank wiff yaks, half dozen warriors (in case), a smatering of monks, rangers, and 50 rogues all going at it.

Still not disappointed. Prolly a bit drunk though so YMMV.

Vox is a very high priority target on quakes because of the White Scales for bard epic. Competitive guilds have level 52 alts (often velious raid geared) logged out there to engage near instantaneously.

Severilous (who drops CoF) is perhaps the highest priority target in the game, on quakes it's common for guilds to port to EJ and straight to Dreadlands to blow them both up for scales with a group ready to engage Vox right after.

Remember, we're at over a decade of Velious. Most serious players have alts of nearly every class and camping them out strategically for raiding is expected.

Lord Nagafen is sort've the exception, being one of the lowest priority targets in the game. He often stays alive for hours after quakes. (or used to anyways)

A big factor is there's a lot of sources of Cloak of Flames. More probably come from Zordak (who spawns every 24 hours) and even Ixiblat (especially pre-nerf) than Nagafen and Talendor combined.

I've personally seen the most CoF's from Ixiblat, but I farmed it quite a bit before it got nerfed.
