unable to start game
 

I installed eq titanium. then the downloaded patch files zip and patched those. whenever i try to launch the game using the launch batch file i get everquest not found error. even though i see the file there in the directory and the same lunch file is in that directory. I havent started eq from everquest.exe because it says it will screw up the install. Im not sure what i am supposed to do.

What directory did you install Everquest to? your batch file is probably starting in a system directory (c:\Windows\System32) that doesn't know where the eqgame.exe is. The default .bat file says "start eqgame patchme" you'll probably want to edit it to point to your install directory such as "start C:\sony\everquest\eqgame.exe patchme"

Same person different login. I installed it to programs directory then moved the Everquest directory over to my root c drive. You are correct the directory in the launch is set to system32 directory. I tried to edit it but it keeps saying I dont have permission to edit it even though im logged in as administrator.

Don't argue with Windows; defeat it.

I would suggest creating your own shortcut, an example of one can be found here:

Just remember to make sure the target has patchme on the end of it.
