SK twink suggestion
 

gathering some input on SK gearing, budget with few hundred k plat, need suggestions on the following slots

weapon, range, face, ear, finger, waist, wrist, neck, back, hands, boots

Weapons: Reaver + Sword of Pain LR + Ashenbone Shield LR / Ebon Mace + Atramentous Shield
Back slot: Black Bear Pelt Cloak / Iksar Hide Cape

With that budget I’d make sure I could get a few items with important effects. Not sure how much a CoS is on your server; the Stealthy Travels ring is a great option too.

Narandi Crown
Reaver (replace with epic MQ for leveling and fun)
Greenmist if Iksar
Staff of Shielding for proc
Sword of Pain and Ashenbone LR or Atram shield
Fungi
CoS or Stealthy Ring
Bobbing Corpse earring
Eyepatch of Plunder
Two hammered golden loops
Queens Carapace or velious quest Bp (if not vindi)

Many items will vary depending on your race pick. Chokidai Spaulders not as good for a fatty; maybe a peerless mantle instead. On my erudite I can justify a maelstrom cloak.

Shard of Night 1-30. After than, with raid loot, look at Dain Axe and keep an eye out for Souldefiler, otherwise just Reaver and use Shard for magic shit.

Aside from AC/HP, stack STR for kill speed and INT/mana for taps / fears, etc. Kinda depends what race you are here, but you don't get extra value from HP like on monk, so INT really goes a long way.

CoS is necessary.

Once things slow down, max level and torch your pet when grinding. As always a beefy 2h like an exe axe on jobober goes a long way.

honestly you don't need to spend nearly that much on an SK to have a good time unless you intend to buy a pre-nerf CoS outright. you're pretty much set with a narandi crown, fungi, reaver, and haste. fill the rest in with crystal chitin, SS mq, SCWBs etc etc
