ok, I've tried a whole bunch of stuff, but still same issue.
so far, I've:
1.Transferred all files from Program Files to a separate folder on the c drive.

2.I've been adjusting windowed width and height in eqclient.ini. I changed it to 800/600, then recommended setting 1366/768. There's a bunch of settings in eqclient.ini, but under video, ther's just this:
[VideoMode]
WindowedWidth=800
WindowedHeight=600

That's it. none of the other settings that the "read first" post reccomends changing. I did try adding all the settings,
these:
WindowedWidth=800
WindowedHeight=600
Width=800
Height=600
FullscreenBitsPerPixel=32
FullscreenRefreshRate=0
WidthWindowed=800
HeightWindowed=600

but it didn't work.

Not sure what to try next. Any suggestions?
Steve

I would recommend that you do a fresh install of the titanium client and redownload the P99 Patch files.

Back up your old client file somewhere.

Razlog,
Thank you for the info. I will do what you have suggested. What do you mean by "old client file"?

Make a copy of your old Everquest folder and keep a copy somewhere.

My brother encountered an issue a while back that wouldn't let him log in suddenly. Would be an error message every time he tried to login.

Unfortunately, I can't recall what the error message was or whether it happened before or after the login screen, so I'm not sure if it's the same issue you're having, but figured I'd post on the off chance it's the same issue.

The fix ended up being to stop running the game in compatibility mode.
