Guide to the Firepot Room

Was working on this before I quit and my completionism suddenly struck and I wanted to finish it.

I'm a bit iffy on some guard factions, I think the ones that give multiple faction hits might need all those factions raised, they aren't always on a guard faction nor just the warriors guild of that town.

My next goal/s would be to include:
1. A chart showing races/classes and what destinations are non KOS by default
2. Info on what level chars get soulbinding spell.
3. Info on locket of escape and time frame binding was possible.
4. Level up/Faction guide tailored to the zones factions in question.

This is very nice.
Maybe using the wiki would be a good option to publish this !

This is great. Man I wish they would do a GM event where you can bind there for a weekend.

Will be awesome if we ever get a new server, unfortunately nobody really cares about firepots after being locked in velious for years.

Yeah really depends on what you want to do with your char. If you want to end up seriously into end game raiding then you're going to eventually need the locket bind outside TOV

An OVP and dial a port can get you to a lot of dragon raids in time (source: my raid guild can pry my TD bind from my cold dead hands ... but I still have a mage-server-first https://wiki.project1999.com/Ring_of_Destruction and other raid gear).

That being said, being able to bind outside ToV is huge, and actually required to do some cool stuff (eg. Mage DA pulls). If you're a serious raider, you probably will either lose the TD bind, or start an alt who can bind outside ToV.

Sure they can, but almost no high end raiding guild wants a large proportion of players doing that, since if there's too many people who are traveling then they could lose some of the race upfront or otherwise not make a significant dent before other guilds have finished off other targets and begin arriving in TOV

Best overall bind spot in Vanilla era = EC tunnel.

Best overall bind spot in Kunark era = Firiona Vie docks. You're not that far from the firepots, while being much closer to the more important Kunark content.

Best overall bind spot in Velious era = Plane of Mischief.

a notorious scandal of a name for yourself.

the firepots give access to kunark through cabilis, which is more central to the continent and close to firiona anyway
