Wiki Addicts: Requesting Feedback on New Wiki Standards
Recently, a spat in the forums led to a wiki edit war (don't read the thread; it will only lower your intelligence).
However, it did lead to me taking some administrative action, and that made me think: the wiki should spell out exactly what administrators do, and what (extremely limited) expectations we have about everyone who edits the wiki. Therefore, I present https://wiki.project1999.com/Administrators, where you can learn what our administrators' role is. Also, this page has the (hard-to-find) link to the current wiki admins list. If I'm the only admin you know, but you have an issue with me, you can now use that page to find other admins' help. I also present: https://wiki.project1999.com/Editing_Standards. This just extends the top of https://wiki.project1999.com/Help:Content (and in fact I added a link to the new page there). It more or less just says "only add encyclopedia-like P99 content", but with greater detail. Anyhow, they're both really just boilerplate pages, but I think having them does improve the wiki. I'd love more eyes, in case I missed anything or got anything wrong, so please (constructively) tell me of any improvements you can suggest! P.S. Both are just ordinary (non-locked) wiki pages, so you can also feel free to improve them yourself. |
