i bought a bottle of grey goose last night

shoulda gotten kirkland vodka.

anyways i like whiskey but i save it for treat occasions. i especially like scotch. i have been to oban, in scotland, and tasted scotch at the distillery there. scotch is good.

Sadly true. And long term, there's no question: science shows there is no healthy amount of alcohol, so any amount you consume is (statistically) reducing your lifespan.

That being said, while I don't drink the fancy independent stuff, I do enjoy a Maker's Mark on the rocks from time to time.

I drank too much whisky playing in bar bands for ten years, the smell of it makes me gag now. Although I can still do a pickleback (shot chased by pickle brine, sounds gross but it owns).
