A couple of years ago Blue’s population was bigger than what Green’s is now.
 

It only cracks me up because when I see new players ask where to play, the same people who said blue was unplayable due to low pop will chime in to say to play on green because it’s so active even though the pop is lower than blues was two years ago when they stunted on blue players.

I disagree too. If you want to solo, blue is the way to go. If you are a new player who mostly wants to solo or afk level, items are also dramatically cheaper on blue and high $$$ like treats are almost always available. If you’re a hardcore player who enjoys trying to solo difficult content, blue is way better - regularly solo camps that are generally occupied by entire groups on green.

Just keeping it real. Not to mention the fact that eventually when there is a merge we will all be on the same server anyways, but by playing on blue you had a much easier time soloing and farming generational wealth, so you’ll naturally be ahead.

I would posit that the hardcore solo people probably aren't coming to the forums to ask what server to start on and by nature the people that are asking want interaction.

To your point green isn't exactly crowded so by your own analysis you can be a hardcore solo player on green more effective now than you could on blue a few years ago. As someone that spends most of their time solo I still prefer Green because I get more money for the stuff I farm, there is actually more than 1 viable guild on the server so there is still some level of competition for those that want it, and virtually all new folks coming to P99 are going there.

Really the only reason for blues existence at this point is not to penalize the people that invested a ton into that server prior to green existing. At current player counts we really only have 1 viable server.

I mean if you really wanna go off the deep end of literally 0 human interaction ever the entire time you play on P99 might as well go to red.

blue is forever

I've been looking forward to a return to Blue ... after my Green characters are merged there ... for years now.

I hope when it does happen we get some sort of delay before Green 2.0, so I can enjoy being back on the server with all my toons in one place.

Blues population was larger than all of the P99 servers combined and doubled when I first started playing. Hitting close to 2k was not unusual, and 1500 was everyday
