Anyone remember Xfire? Looking for more friends on P99?
Hello all, I'm sorry if this isn't appropriate or the correct place, I wasn't sure exactly where this type of thread would fit best, and my intentions are to help the community here.
Xfire has been long dead, but back in the day, quite a few people used Xfire to stay in touch on and between games on EverQuest and more, as well as having the ability to take/share screenshots and videos with the platform! I've been working with a revival project, called "Xf1re", and one of the things I've been working on is restoring support for many games on Xf1re, as even today, there are many older games left behind, but with Xf1re, you can stay in touch and even chat while in-game! An easy enhancement to your P99 experience, and Xf1re's low resource usage (~10mb) means it works even on older machines! I've added Xf1re support for Project 1999: https://xf1re.com/games/1999/Project...ssic_EverQuest And lastly, a group you and anyone can join to quickly find other P99 players: https://xf1re.com/communities/p99 It's completely free and always will be on Xf1re, we do it because we loved Xfire and what it gave to gamers and the experiences back in the day. If you add me on Xf1re or join the group, if you have any issues, please message me and let me know, so I can correct it ASAP. Thank you all for your time and please spread the word! It really means a lot to us at the Xf1re project when we see people enjoying the platform, all the hard work is then worth it. :D |

I never used it myself but I remember the name from back in the day. Sounds like a cool project.
