Everquest has detected that your client may have crashed
 

I haven't played P99 in a couple of months and noticed a new patch. I downloaded and placed the files in my existing P99 directory and attempted to load the game.

I get the error in the title and see the "Select A Character" graphic on the left of the screen, and I hear a sound similar to a character swinging their weapon, however the screen is black... save for the Select A Character graphic.

Looking at the dbg.txt I see this;

I'm not sure what the "fatal error in main thread" might be. Any ideas on what the issue is? My Google Fu is failing me on a resolution.

1. Reinstalled EQ from scratch
2. Copied over new v62 patch files
3. Launched EQ

I was able to login fine.
I closed the game and copied over ONE characters UI_XXX_project1999.ini and XXX_project1999.ini files (and the appropriate UI referenced in the UI_XXX_project1999.ini) and relaunched the game. I'm still able to login as that character.

Not sure what file and/or setting was causing the crash but it seems to be resolved now.
