Ground Spawns Working?
 

With the new patch out on Green and the changes to items like Morning Dew, I am wondering if the ground spawns for Morning Dew and Misty Acorns and such are working properly.

-Is there any info on respawn timers?

-Is there any confirmation that they are NOT spawning out of bounds and on top of trees/structures or under structures?

-Is there any confirmation that the items are actually spawning and are not bugged?

-Is there any interest in players investigating and seeing if the foraging return rates increased with item drops going to pure ground spawns and foraging and when the fixed ground spawns changed to random ground spawns in the past?

I ask to 1. understand, 2. be able to confirm and update the wiki so fellow adventurers are in the know. I'd love to be able to properly plan for tradeskilling based off ground spawns.

I appreciate any info that may help that can be shared. Thanks for all you folks do for the game!

Devs don't always provide timers on game mechanics

Misty Acorn ground spawns I can confirm work just fine. I started off trying to map out possible locations and after I got to 100+ without seeing one in the same spot twice I gave up on that idea. They appear to be randomly placed anywhere on the map. Nearly all of them I found as normal ground spots. Only 1 time did I see one that was on the side of a tree but it was character height so was easily able to get that one

No idea how respawns work though. I could typically find 3-5 ground spawn acorns running around for an hour everyday while maybe getting 1-2 in that same time foraging

I appreciate the morning dew info that it may be 36 hour ground spawn or so.

I didn't know if that was a standard thing across zones for general tradeskill ground spawns or not. I'm guessing it can be different all over.

I'll give this method a try in Misty.
I did some reading on Allakhazam and in the 2000-2001 time period a number of people report being newbs and running around finding acorns easily and readily available to sell. Like able to pick up stacks of them while leveling from 1-9 it seems.

So hoping misty ground spawn rate is fairly frequent and in line with what you mention and the comments I found. :d
