Kerra Isle & Maugrim
 

Hey everybody,

So since level 25 or so, every time I find myself in Toxx I head over to Kerra isle and try to camp Maugrim for the Greaves of the Penitent. In all my time doing so, i've never seen Maugrim, just a Kerran priestess in her spot. I don't remember her having a placeholder on live, has anyone completed this quest here or is it broken?

Yeah I did this quest. You're in the wrong spot. I made the same mistake, wasted a few hours :p.

Hmmm,

I'm looking for her behind the throne in the room on the left past the gorilla guard. Is there another place she spawns at?

She spawns on the little island with all the heretics. I think any of the heretics can be a placeholder.

This brings back memories! I concur with Dentalplan.

Back on live circa 1999-2000, whenever Temple quests came out, I used my wimpy cleric AE nukes to wipe out the (con green) heretics until Maugrim spawned. Except when Maugrim spawned I didn't realise it so I had this character in amongst my group of victims. She (or was it a he?) charmed me and proceeded to run me all over the zone but thankfully when charm broke I was right by the zoneline and barely escaped under a barrage of nukes. I was much more circumspect on my second attempt.
