Unable to create a character
 

Greetings!

I just started (again) and am unable to create a character. Rather, I can create a character just fine, but I have no "Tutorial Zone" button to uncheck. I have reinstalled three times now, and even tried on a different machine running a different OS. I am using the Titanium client.

I can play the game just fine using a char I created back when 1999 first started up, as that char is not in the mines. However, any new character I create automatically gets put in the mines, and as you know, that zone does not exist, so I cannot log in using that character.

I am at a loss as to what to do. Halp!

weird, i never uncheck the tutorial thing and it always takes me to the right city anyway, even if it says it's entering the mines

Aye, it's really frustrating. I can play just fine on my old char. All I really need is the char created by someone else. If only you could change the world login password, I'd be set. =(

Discovered my issue. The game is not fond of Halfling Paladins. Perhaps that combo came later. Any other character works fine.

Uh, yea...Halfling Paladin/Ranger and the other newer class/race combinations weren't added until well after Luclin I believe.
