If PVP death EXP loss...
How would you feel if PvP death exp loss was based on level difference of person who killed you?
Something that scales up and down from same-level death. If someone 8 levels above you (or max difference of whatever they decide), kills you, then there is minimal loss. If someone 8 levels below you (minimum of difference decided) gets the killing blow... you get extra exp loss. Eh? Or is this fucking stupid?:( |

With the staggering class imbalance this wouldn't be fair. In most cases a melee that isn't twinked would probably be weaker than a caster 8 levels below them, unless the resists are different here.

A level 12 caster vs a lvl 20 melee...
Caster would probably not have enough mana to kill a melee. Maybe a necro would, but that would take quite a while and by then the necro would probably be dead. or OOM from trying to keep the melee rooted. EXP death doesnt seem to really need to happen though. |

Mage solo Vs. Rogue that has been seen solo = death. Why should rogue get EXP death for walking through butcher block on his own? lol. Level 12 mage vs level 20 rogue..rogue kill level 12 pet very easily mage has no chance since he cant root and spell for pet is slow. Level 20 mage vs lvl 12 rogue = rogue dead.
8 levels is way too much for any real PVP at low levels. It would mean for like half of the players their entire gaming experience would suck because they will be fighting twinks with no lootable items that are way too high level for them to have a shot at killing. 4 levels.. item loot, no exp loss in PVP death. Play nice rules. Bind rushing not allowed. Sure it might happen..report it enough and guy gets banned. Problem solved. |
