What is the deal with Sir Lucan
 

Is someone killing him for the lulz every time he spawns?

Once a week I install p99 just to log in and kill Sir Lucan to piss off lowbie paladins everywhere.

Not stopping ever.

I was just about to make the Seinfeld joke when my internet went out :(

He is on a 7 day spawn timer.

I was incredibly unlucky in my search to find him. I play erratically but I spent probably 75, maybe more hours or so soloing/duoing guards in Freeport and got most of my hybrid penalty exp from levels 38-42 and 48-51.5. That's a lot of time for a Paladin. In said time I never saw him up. The only time I saw him up was when I was level 20 something and did not want to ask a lot of high levels for help.

I finally found him one weekend. Keep searching.

we should srsly consider to make west freeport instanced

It just seems that since this server's been up for a considerable period with a lower population of paladins he wouldn't be dead all the time. I guess he comes up 7 days after a patch/bounce.


Yeah and pvp teams while we're at it. /derail.

Ah noticed a bard just finished it, Supremacy. 5 CH charges from inventory FTW. Oh well, sounds perma camped then.

Yup, worst part of finishing Fiery Avenger wasn't killing dragons for the books, killing Miragul or getting keyed to island 4, it was finding Lucan alive.

Pretty sure he's due sometime Saturday night, just have some people there ready to pull soon as he spawns, being there first doesn't mean shit, gotta be first to engage as i found out, so be prepared for some douchebaggery.
