Enchanter has the best haste so I'd put that as a major role.

You forgot to mention ones who can lull/soothe.

You forgot Bards exist.

I don't think you can really put DPS as a major role for shaman. Certainly not if healing and buffing are considered minor roles.

These aren't exactly right either. Completely missed buffs, Magician utility (DS, mod rod,etc)...SKs and Paladins aren't off-tanks, they're completely capable tanking group content. Twitch isn't part of the Necromancer 'role'. I'd fix them all but, well, I'm falling asleep.

They're right. Shaman's major role is buffing and slows.

Necromancer:
Offhealing, Crowd Control.

Ranger
Pulling (outdoor), DPS, Tracking
Tanking, Ghetto CC. Comic Relief.
